Graphic Content-- Mother Arrested For Trying To Eat Her Newborn Son

 

                     A 24-year-old woman was arrested after she was caught sinking her teeth into her newborn baby’s arm just hours after giving birth in Shenzhen, China.

                   The heavily woman, who is supposed to be mentally handicapped, had been rushed to hospital after she was discovered in the process of giving birth on the street. After awhile she delivered a healthy    baby boy and both of them were transferred to a ward.
                    
There were no signs of trouble until on the third day in hospital she was allegedly caught by a nurse biting her son on his tiny arm. When the nurse raised the alarm and tried to pull the baby free, the mother had refused to stop biting her newborn son.
Luckily for the boy, hospital staff managed to insert something to stop her closing her teeth and then opened her jaws apart. The woman was given a sedative while the baby was taken to an another ward for treatment. During the attack his arm was badly damaged and suffered serious bleeding.

Later the incident was reported to police which launched an investigation. Finally, the woman’s identity was established, it was 24-year-old Li Zhenghua whose cruel mother-in-law had thrown her out on the street. Li was living on the streets for several weeks until she found herself at hospital with a baby boy in her hands.
An investigation is now going on to decide what prompted the woman’s actions and whether the child should be officially confiscated from both her and her husband’s family, who no longer seem to want anything to do with her, and also possibly her child.
