Annual day of "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day" was held in Washington when one of the girls surprised Michelle Obama by giving her a resume of her father.
A young girl, who was one of the guests to the White House on annual "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day", moved everyone when she decided to help her father and gave his resume to the first lady of the US.
During a question and answer session in a meeting at
White House, a 10-year girl, named Charlotte Bell stood up and asked the First Lady: "My dad's been out of a job for three years and I wanted to give you his résumé."
Michelle Obama seemed surprised at first, but immediately invited her to the stage, gave her a hug.
After that she said "Well it's a little private, but she's doing something for her dad. Alright?" She held the resume in her hand and shook it showing that she will take care of it. "Got it."
According to Associated Press, when the First Lady left the room she didn't forget to take the resume with her. We hope we will find out more news on whether the girl's father will find a job.
This gesture is sure to teach us of not being afraid to ask for help when you get a chance.
What would you ask President Jonathan or First Lady of Nigeria if you had a chance?
