Good News : Big Brother Africa throws audition open

 

Unlike what happened in the previous years, organisers of Big Brother Africa have thrown audition open for this year’s edition.

They are inviting any Nigerian from the age on 21 to an audition slated for Protea Hotel Leadway, Ikeja, Lagos on Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1.

“We are very grateful and remain pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming response that the show has been receiving over the years. We look forward to the selection of our potential housemates coming in large numbers to auditions at the specified venues and take that chance at being the next Big Brother star,” says M-Net Africa Regional Director (West Africa), Wangi Wa-Uzoukwu.

“The fact that the fans truly adore the show is all the motivation we need to keep it fresh and that is always made possible by the enthusiastic and fun-loving young Africans who will answer to Big Brother. We are rearing to go and we know that this will definitely be another exciting season that is full of quality entertainment,” she adds.

MultiChoice Africa CEO Nico Meyer also says the company is always pleased to welcome each new season of Big Brother Africa onto its platforms, while applauding its success and ability to bring together audiences from all across the continent.

Gospel singer, Mr Kyze put up a magnificent event for his album presentation in Owerri, making many believe he has cemented his place at the top spot of the gospel music industry.
The event which took place at Mavis Suites, Owerri, Imo State on Sunday, June 1, 2014 drew the best of the best in the music industry of the state as well as others who came to support the event.

Barely five hours after the police vacated the palace, the new emir, Sanusi, was led into his new home by a retinue of armed policemen, palace guards, friends and other well-wishers.

Sanusi stepped into the building for the first time since he emerged emir close to a week ago.

The new emir was earlier prevented from gaining entry into the palace by security officials who were allegedly acting on instructions from Abuja. The journey to the palace began from the Kano State Government House, Kano, by 3.30pm.

Sanusi drove into the palace in the official vehicles of the emirate via a newly constructed gate built in his honour in line with tradition.

He had led some of his subjects during Juma’at prayers at the state House where he admonished them to fear Allah and love one another.

'The Jonathanians Rally in Kano Tomorrow Will Lead To Violence, Destruction and Loss of Lives - Nasir El-Rufai

 

ALERT ON KANO: Tomorrow is Friday. We have credible information that Jonathanians in Kano and their agents have received huge sums of money to get youths to protest massively and cause mayhem after the Juma'at prayers.
The Jonathanians hope the protests will lead to violence, destruction and loss of lives, while the federal security agencies watch helplessly, thus giving President Jonathan the excuse to declare a state of emergency in Kano State, remove Governor Kwankwaso and depose Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

This plan will fail. By God's Grace, tomorrow's Juma'at prayers in Kano will be uneventful except for special prayers for the repose of Late Emir Ado Bayero.
Whoever sold this evil plan to the Jonathanians should know that those who fight the will of God will end in ignominious perdition.
Those wish for violence, plan it against innocent people, or use the offspring of the poor, needy and illiterate by putting them recklessly in harm's way will face the wrath of Almighty God.
I join others in appealing to Governor Kwankawaso and the citizens of Kano to maintain the peace and good order that exists in Kano, and exercise restraint in the face of blood-thirsty Jonathanian provocation.
We shall overcome these Jonathanian challenges and Kano and indeed the whole of Nigeria will prosper. The enemies of our nation and people that pretend to be leaders during the day, while planning the murder of citizens at night, will reap what they are sowing, by God's Grace.
