                                     Iconic Fashion Designer Oscar de la Renta Dies At 82 

                     De la Renta who was battling Cancer for eight years, is reported to have died on Monday, October 20, 2014, surrounded by family and friends at his Connecticut home in US. Oscar de la Renta died at the age of 82

‘While our hearts are broken by the idea of life without Oscar, he is still very much with us. Oscar's hard work, his intelligence and his love of life are at the heart of our company’, a handwritten statement signed by his stepdaughter Eliza Reed Bolen and her husband, Alex Bolen confirmed.

                   The chief executive of French oil company Total, Christophe de Margerie, 63, has died.He died last night when a private jet he was boarding with three crew members collided with a snow plough at Moscow’s Vnukovo international airport. His death has been described as a big loss for the global oil/gas industry. He was 63. May his soul rest in peace.

6 Men Face 1,300 Years In Prison Each For Gang-defiling A 15-Year-Old Student

                  A McLennan County grand jury Wednesday indicted six men on a total of 91 counts that could bring them prison terms of more than 1,300 years in the alleged gang r*pe of a 15-year-old girl.
Five of the men were indicted on 13 counts of first-degree felony aggravated s*xual assault of a child and two counts of s*xual assault of a child, a second-degree felony.
The men are Devoric Javon Evans, 20; Lamont Tray Davis, 19; Day’tron Derrell Smith, 18; Da’Juan Oshea Degrate, 18; and Cory Darnell Hall, 18.

Graphic Pictures -- South African Doctors Surgically Remove a Cell Phone Stuck in a Man's Throat

                         A stomach-churning pic has been released online which shows a cell phone being surgically removed from a man's mouth. In the video, an unidentified patient at a hospital in Klerksdorp, South Africa, was wheeled into the theatre with the gadget lodged in his throat. Lying in bed sedated with a group of medics crowded around, first, saliva is sucked from his gums and tongue, then metal clamps are inserted to prise out the electronic device.

As the phone slowly emerges, the surgeons' shocked expressions can be heard. Some even break into laughter as they struggle to contain their amazement.

Although the clip has only just resurfaced online, it was originally filmed in May 2012, by Edwin Shingo, one of the medical staff who witnessed the extraordinary scene. The patient is not named and there is no explanation as to how the phone got stuck in his throat. Watch more pics after the cut
