Obi Okoli, Liz Benson, and Yul Edochie, are starring in a TV series titled The Palace, which is currently being shot in Owerri, Imo State. Also appearing in the series are Chiwetalu Agu, Geraldine Ejiogu, Adaeze Eluke, Queeneth Hilbert, Stephanie Scott, and Uju Okoli. The series is being directed by Chidi Anyanwu, and it is being produced by Kingsley Okereke of Divine Touch Production. more pix after the cut.....
The series is about a king (Obi Okoli) who develops serious hatred for women, after being betrayed by his wife. His son (Yul Edochie) takes after him, and is unwilling to marry, even after coming of age. The king's sister (Liz Benson), gets her daughter (Stephanie Scott) to bring three of her friends to the palace, in the hopes that the prince will be drawn to pick one of them for a wife.
