A 20-year-old American
man who was badly gored during a Spanish bull-running festival is out of
intensive care after suffering some of the worst injuries medics
treating him had ever seen.
Benjamin Miller, from
Georgia, is out of danger and not likely to have to undergo any further
operations, a spokesman for Clinic Hospital in western Salamanca said on
Monday.
According to Dailymail,he
suffered several wounds, including a 16-inch goring in the thigh, when
he was caught by a fighting bull during a festival in the nearby town of
Ciudad Rodrigo on Saturday.
Terrifying images showed him
being tossed around by the bull before he was dragged to the side of
the road by other participants and spectators....
Surgeon Enrique Crespo was called to operate on
Miller after he was injured on the first day of the annual festival.
Crespo said: 'It's not the worst injury I've seen, but it's the biggest goring wound I've ever had to operate on.'
