The governorship candidate, who made the assertion while flagging off campaign for the much awaited general elections, insisted that the time was ripe to vote out the PDP -led government in the state as well as at the federal level, Leadership reports.
Masari pledged to transform the state when elected governor, adding that he would accord top most priority to health, education and agricultural sector.
He further noted that the long years of PDP government had put critical sectors of the economy in jeopardy.
“We will ensure we provide the needed leadership that will put our dear state in a pedestal of growth,”he assured.
It was gathered that scores of APC chieftains, who spoke at the Baure venue of the campaign launch, called on Nigerians to vote en masse for the APC, party, reiterating that the country was in dire need of change.
Meanwhile, hundreds of party faithful who defied the hazy hamatan wind and cold came out enmasse and where repeatedly shouting, ‘Nigeria Sai Buhari.
’ It would be recalled that Masari, who is a former House of Representatives Speaker, had earlier revealed President Goodluck Jonathan’s fatein February election.
Meanwhile, Masari had earlier opened a can of worms when he revealed that the United States government had warned the Nigerian government about the Boko Haram insurgencyyears before it began in 2009.
