Suspected Ritualists Kill Man And Pluck Son’s Eyes In Bauchi State

                      Suspected ritualists have killed a man and removed his son’s eyes in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
                    The ritualists, 10 in number, were said to have stormed the residence of the deceased, Yakubu Ubandoma, with dangerous weapons, stabbed him on the neck and cut off his hands.
                    They also reportedly removed the eyes of the deceased’s son, Ishaya Yakubu, who later died in the hospital.

The Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday paraded a robbery gang, which confessed to have killed a former Assistant Editor of the Newswatch newspapers, Mr. Toyin Obadina, in one of their operations.
Obadan was shot dead on February 1, 2014 at Ikorodu area of Lagos and his car was later abandoned at Lucky Fibre area.The police had declared a manhunt
for the killer robbers until last week Friday, when SARS operatives, led by Abba Kyari, acting on a tip-off burst the criminals’ hideout at the Ajelogo-Akanimodo area of Mile 12 and arrested two members of the gang.
According to the Sun One of the four suspects paraded yesterday by the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Kayode Aderanti, at Ikeja, Samuel explained that the leader of the gang, Oke fired the shot that killed the editor.

Gumi ended the letter by alerting Buhari of a plot to use him to truncate the current democratic dispensation just like he was used to overthrow the civilian government of Shehu Shagari in 1983.

4 unemployed youth have asked a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja to compel the Federal Government to pay them N10 million as general damages for failing to provide them with jobs.

A woman has died of her injuries after being set on fire on a train in the Indian state of Kerala.

The woman, identified as Fathima, 45, had been seen having an argument with man on the station platform in the town of Kannur early on Monday.

She boarded a stationary train and was seen running out shortly afterwards in flames. Police say they are looking for the suspect.
